I searched a lot but there seems to be no way to have additional color schemes in Dev C++. The existing ones are way too bland. Also, I am no good at colors, yet, it feels as if I don't have the control to choose enough colors in the Editor Options. Is there a workaround? Can anyone port '>this?

How To Change Output Screen Color In Dev C++
Nov 12, 2011 video to show how colored output screen can be obtained in dev c.this video can help beginners in the programming field. Sorry you don't need to add cstdlib. Aug 21, 2011 You don't. That function changes the color that cout will write with. Every time you wish to change the color (examples: to highlight it and to return it to normal), use the SetConsoleTextAttribute function. Try compiling and executing the example program in the thread I linked for you to get an idea of how to use it and how it works.
Certainly some may say this is a lot of fuss over nothing. But, I believe its really important.
Colors are bit-encoded. If You want to change the Text color in C language There are many ways. In the console, you can change the properties of output.click this icon of the console and go to properties and change color. The second way is calling the system colors. Sep 15, 2012 I have rewritten it in C but cannot find (or work out) how to change the colours of the letters on the board. I used the colour coding: 1 letter displayed in white 2 letters displayed as green 3 letters displayed as yellow 4 letters displayed as blue 5 letters displayed as red. Can anyone give me a clue as to how to do this in C??

Dev C++ Dark Theme
No one has an answer? Or is it that Dev C++ does not have such features. Tell me about a good editor (if not an IDE) which is good features and additional color scheme adding capability.
